Twitter 101 for Business Released

Comments

Twitter 101 GuideTwitter announced yesterday, the release of a special guide for business, Twitter 101. The special, online guide is written by Twitter and Sarah Milstein — and to my surprise it’s a valuable resource for anyone looking at Twitter as a possible tool in their marketing arsenal. I’d dare say that most, currently on Twitter, need to take a look at it to re-learn practical tips for using it successfully.

Inside the Twitter 101 Guide

Getting Started: For beginners, this section is a great start to learning everything you need to know about Twitter, before you begin. The best tip here is, its not an all or nothing proposition – start slow, focus on your goals.

Getting Started with Twitter

Learn the Lingo: For those confused by Twitter’s own language, this is a great guide to understanding what everyone is saying when they talk about Twitter.

Best Practices: This is the juicy part with several tips that will help you be more successful in using Twitter for marketing and business. Most important here… “think of Twitter as a tool to build relationships rather than a tool to broadcast.” That pretty much sums it up.

Twitter Resources in the Guide

It’s a definite read if you aren’t convinced Twitter is a good place to be.
