Social Media Magic with The Success Fool Alejandro Reyes

This is definitely a different post than you’re used to — especially if you’ve been reading my blog for any amount of time. I’ve got to share an experience I had last night with The Success Fool, Alejandro Reyes, and about 30-50 other people. After reviewing it in my head last night (yep, I’m a thinker) I realized, I had just experienced true social media magic… The art of relationships and connecting with people on such a level they literally turn into raving, evangalistic fans. In one hour, serious connections were made, a secret from one of the top online geniuses of all-time (aka Ed Dale) was revealed before anyone else really grabbed hold, and so much more. Truly incredible. It started with a Skype message to me from Alejandro… “I’m live” and who knew it was going to be the best time I’ve had connecting with others online in a looooooooong time!
Jumped on to his UStream live feed at www.SuccessFoolTV.com and the evening began. (Bookmark that link and connect to Alejandro on Twitter!… you will not be disappointed)
The live feed only had about 35-45 people on it at one-time, but it was truly social media marketing magic in the making. Ed Dale announced HUGE, HUGE news from Google that will change the way Internet marketers do keyword research… The room was packed with TRUE SEO gurus sharing secrets and thoughts that could even help the newbie… Internet marketers “name that tune” was hilarious and fun… and in the end?
Tons of life-long, career developing, social media connections were made — all in less than an hour!
You see, Alejandro is the master of relationships… the master of using social media to make connections that literally have catapulted him to the top of everyone’s who’s who list. Period.
What the stinkin’ point?
Social media magic… internet marketing magic… does NOT happen in the daily grind of posting, optimizing, connecting through technology, blah blah blah… no way, my friends.
Social media magic happens when the “social” is put back into the social media. It happens when people connect… really connect. It’s never been about the tools. It’s always been about connecting to the people with the tools.
Last night’s Success Fool TV was a perfect, shining, glorious example of TRUE social media at work.
When social media is leveraged the right way, one relationship formed has the power and potential of creating a world of infinite possibilities. One connection. It’s that powerful.
When all was said and done… At the end of the night, I’m willing to bet the farm, that EVERY single person watching that stream (if they have any sense at all) will remember Alejandro for a loooooooooong, looooooong, loooooong time.
Lesson?
Solopreneur, step back… take a deep breath… and create real opportunities to connect with your audience. Stop having your VA send out “canned” messages… stop focusing on the technology… stop focusing on the latest trend…
… and start focusing on how that technology can CONNECT you with your audience, with that influencer you’re dying to connect to…
I rarely say this, but if you only subscribe to one blog this year … make it The Success Fool with Alejandro Reyes. Not only is he up and coming in Internet marketing - he is the man to watch and learn from when it comes to social media and the power of building real, strategic relationships.
… and the kicker? You’ll have a ton of fun too!

if we back it up from what already is …. everybody is already connected, fully, there is only one consciousness … all tools do is allow us to realize what already is, and the trick is the same trick, don’t let the tools, or anything else get in the way of realizing connectedness.

@Marc-Andre True indeed. It was an absolute blast and once again, Alejandro proved himself to be THE man in relationship building and TRUE social media marketing.
You know you’re good when your audience doesn’t even “feel” the marketing. He’s building relationships for life…
@gregorylent I’m not sure about the fluff, but I get the point and agree entirely with the meat of it — it’s all about connections! Social media is simply another tool to make those connections happen
