Broken Links and Redirection Plugins

The many SEO benefits of using Wordpress are catapulted to a whole new level with the addition of smart SEO pluginsRedirection plugin and Broken Link Checker plugin should be included in your arsenal of tools to vamp up your Wordpress blog for SEO.  Broken Link Checker and Redirection will help you in the fight against broken links, which damage your SEO efforts, by providing an easy way to find broken links and set up permanent 301 redirects on your blog without techie skills.

Broken Links Suck for SEO & Users

In the game of SEO, a broken link is a wall that not only tick off your blog/site visitor but also stops search engine bots from easily crawling your entire archive of content.  In fact, sites with excessive broken links are hindered from being indexed effectively by Google.  It’s important to stay on top of your broken links, fix them quickly and keep your site accessible by bots and usable for visitors.

Broken Link Checker Plugin

The first step to broken link rehabilitation is to end your denial of having broken links in the first place.  Broken link checker will notify you immediately, upon locating broken links anywhere on your Wordpress blog/site. All links are included in its validation, including images, links heading outside of your blog, and linking from within.  It also notifies you of broken links caused by missing or moved content.
