Just logged into Facebook, for first time this week (I’m not an avid user), and noticed they are now posting updates from the Pages you are a “fan” of directly in your news feed. For businesses and marketers, this means whatever you update on your Facebook page — becomes a new possible addition to their stream…
Be careful, don’t assume another point of contact is a good one. You’re going to still need to communicate in an effective way with your audience — not for marketing or spamming.
I’m happy to see the changes, but I’m also an early adopting tech-geek with a passion for the technology… whether it’s appealing to everyone, time will tell. I definitely think users will be more selective in the brands and pages they engage with, depending on how each behaves
