Bloggers, of all kinds, should consider tying their email marketing and RSS marketing strategies together, for automated delivery of blog content . Aweber is a great email marketing service that let’s you easily and seemlessly provide RSS marketing through the more familiar interface of email. Their blog broadcast feature is a great one to allow your readers to subscribe via the medium they are comfortable…. This is particularly helpful considering RSS has not hit mainstream outside of the “early adopting” bubble that most bloggers operate in.
Setting Up Your Blog Broadcast
When your readers subscribe to your blog via an AWeber form, they are considered “email subscribers” however, because they subscribed on a blog – you have to make special considerations for how you will communicate with them via email. The most recognized way is to set up a “blog broadcast” in AWeber to automatically send them the blog post via email – because this is what they will expect.
Log in to your AWeber account
Select the list that refers to your blog subscribers
Select “Messages” – “Blog Broadcast”
Select Create New Blog Broadcast
Enter your FEEDBURNER feed
Click “Load Template” for the standard, single post template
It’s on the left side, below the field that has the templates listed, you’ll have to scroll down.
It will populate, scroll down and set your delivery settings

All times are eastern. If you’re going to have it automatically update every time you post, leave it at the default.

To have it send out every time you post, you’ll leave it the way its defaulted.

Always have the links clickable, so you can track, just like with email marketing.
