… man this item is so stinkin’ small within the WordPress blog it might amaze you. But, after reviewing an email today in where it was discovered that this little thing was missing — I realized… I’ve discovered this quite a few times and more often in beginners and those fairly green to the blogosphere…

Ready for this? Have you gone into your “Options” section and checked out your “Privacy” settings? There is this little option that offers two selections:
- I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers
If you do not have the first one checked, it doesn’t matter what you do, you will not get rankings in search engines and other directories — Wordpress will actually block 80% to 90% of connections with your blog.
Check that option, even if a so-called professional has set up your blog.
Login to Dashboard –> “Options” –> “Privacy”
